As many of you know, we are the proud owners in the Disney Vacation Club, and plan, save and prepare to go to a Disney resort each year. Usually we can only arrange to get a two day park pass, or a One day with a special event pass, as it seems we are always getting hit with something unexpected. Fortunately, this year, we have already prepaid, for 90% of it, or will by the end of the week, thanx to the military discount we will be getting with Aunt Jenny coming with us, and the Disney's Give a Day, Get a Day promotion.
Originally I thought we would not be able to participate, as on initial review, we saw page after page, of meals on wheels, and habitat projects, that are just a little too old for Our Monkey to participate in safely. Then by chance I fell upon an old friend's family blog, and their documenting of the LINUS PROJECT. The project was simple and doable for all of our family.

So, Saturday Morning, on our way over to Nana's post Karate, we will be dropping of our finished projects; three teenage friendly, fleece blankets. Monkey picked a cute girly, guitar rock star themed fleece, Papa's is a green and blue stripped, and mine in a gorgeous black and white modern floral pattern...which I am very tempted to go and purchase more fabric to make my own.
Hey, if the Muppets can do it, so can we!!
