Today, Monkey was given a scholarship to continue her Karate Education. She is very excited about this because not only does it mean she will earn her Green Belt, but that she will also be able to start taking her Weapons Training Class. She is becoming my own personal TMNT, all rolled into one.
It was a complete surprise that she was able to get this opportunity, and we are very thankful for it. With the New Studio, the price was going up, but it isn't a bad price when you consider that you are signing up for class from anywhere between 1 and 6 days a week! And you get to choose the days you can or want to come. Had it not been for this scholarship, our Monkey would not be able to continue this journey, and perhaps may not have wanted to go back. We are so thrilled with this development, and can't wait to see Amandine earn that BLACK BELT!
